Teen Vogue X Lucy Helena

parties, CUPCAKES & glitter

My Back-To-School-Saturday party for Teen Vogue was SO much fun.

I invited ten of my closest friends to come hang out this past Saturday for brunch the only way I know how. With pink, glitter and cupcakes of course!

Teen Vogue shipped over so many cool products, clothes and accessories which equipped me for the perfect party.   I searched all over the internet aka Pinterest for the cutest party ideas and got down to business. I knew every party needed a photo booth so that was my first order of business. I found this amazing tutorial for these  fun fringe streamers  that dangled from the ceiling and made my own PhotoBooth props. I bought wood cut out letters that spelled out  P-A-R-T-Y  and covered them in gold glitter because… why not! I then got 12 flute glasses for brunch cocktails and glitter blasted the bottom for e a 'Lucy Touch.’      I came up with my own logo and hashtag for the party so all of my friends could find each other’s photos easily! For the Photo Booth I hooked my camera up to my computer with a tether for my guests could see there photos in real time on my computer. They were then able to send themselves the photos from my computer instantly and post them up on instagram in a matter of minutes! We had about five different types of cupcakes, Federal Doughnuts, pastries from Termi Bros, Cinnabuns and all things sweet. After indulging in sweets and cocktails it was time for our raffle. All of the girls were given 5 raffle tickets with their names on them. They were able to place their name into any jars that were in front of an item they wanted a chance to win. The items were from some of our favorite brands. My ‘Let’s Get Social’ page that all of my guests were able to take home is below.

While we were waiting for everyone to pick their jars the girls were all given tote bags and went around the party picking any products they wanted from Tampax, Maybelline, Simple Skincare, Aeropostale and Pasta Chips.

The girls sat around and waited as I pulled their names out of the jars and celebrated as their names each got called.

We had a BLAST at my Teen Vogue #BTSS Party. Check out the hashtag #LHxTV on Instagram to see what we were all up to. Thank you SO MUCH Teen Vogue, this was a party to remember.

Below are a bunch of photos from our event! Enjoy.

A HUGE thanks to everyone that came out to celebrate my Back-To-School-Party

An even bigger thank you to all of our sponsors: Aeropostale, American Apparel, Delias, Hask, LeSportSac, Maybelline, Not Your Mothers, OGX, Others Follow, Pasta Chips, Parsons X Teen Vogue, Ryan Porter, Simple, Staples and Tampax.
