Hello hi hey! So sorry I've disappeared. I have had the craziest month and I took some time off of keeping up with all things social. So a few things have changed and I'm so excited to share with you. So.. I moved to New York City! I moved about a month ago and I have been working full time since the second week in February at the Tribeca Film Festival as the Social Media and Partnerships Coordinator. The move was very abrupt and sudden so I am actually staying with a friend as I look for an apartment. I love the company, the work and the people! It's a little difficult jumping into a 40+ full time job right in the middle of getting everything ready for the festival but it is a constant rush and what better way to move to New York then hop right into things. This city gives me all the feels - mostly positive - I just wish all of my friends would hurry up and graduate so they can discover this amazing and crazy place with me. Well anyway.. Since I feel like I have been so chaotic and running full speed ahead 24/7 I decided to back it up a little and jump back to my core passion and love for art. I've been sifting through a lot of new imagery that I wouldn't typically be drawn to. I always work with people so I found it interesting that I've been pulling inspiration from such calm and serene landscapes. Here in New York City, you are NEVER alone. You may think you're alone in your apartment but just look down the hallway or out your window, I promise you'll see another human within in a second. It's made me appreciate all of the tranquility and peacefulness I had when I had a month off between graduating early and finding a job.
